Hey everyone. Just recently I got out of a serious relationship with my boyfriend. Because of that I also lost some of my friends. Its one of those situations that the break up was so bad that when you were trying to get over it the friends weren't over it and tried to convince you that youre not. Basically, I was over it but they weren't. I kind of felt like they were trying to break us up on purpose. Open Question: Subliminal Messages in Music?

I've heard of subliminal messaging, but this band that I REALLY enjoy listening to seems to have exascerbated symptoms of anxiety and depression whilst isolating me socially, making me think strange thoughts when I try to decipher the lyrics which are extremely cryptic, and even made me question my resolve to continue living. Is this coincidence or am I just stressing out too much? (I do listen to them to "calm me" and looked into the blatant subliminal messaging which seems disturbing). This is making me sort of paranoid although I will add that I've been on medication and have gone through an extremely stressful year in my life
